Nunda Township Supervisor’s Office
The Nunda Township Board of Trustees meet once a month on the second Thursday at 7:00 p.m except in April, when the Annual Town Meeting immediately precedes the Board Meeting on the second Tuesday.
The meeting is held at the Nunda Township Town Hall, 3510 Bay Road, Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Fall Leaf Collection Schedule 
Unincorporated Nunda Township (MDC Customers)
For residents in unincorporated Nunda Township who receive leaf collection services from MDC, the schedule remains similar to previous years. Please keep the following in mind:
- Leaves must be ready before Monday morning of your scheduled pickup week.
- MDC may complete pickups in one or two days. They will not return later in the week.
- Leaves placed out after Monday will be collected on the next scheduled date.
- Leaves must be raked no more than 3 feet from the edge of the road.
Scheduled Pickup Dates:
- Nunda East = East of Route 31
- Week of October 27 – Nunda East
- Week of November 10 – Nunda East
- Week of November 24 – Nunda East
- Nunda West = West of Route 31
- Week of November 3 – Nunda West
- Week of November 17 – Nunda West
- Week of December 1 – Nunda West
Please note that the last day for yard waste Pickup is November 28th!

Water Testing Back at County!
McHenry County Department of Health has announced that they have re-opened water testing pick up at the Township!
Water bottles are available at the Township between the hours of 7-3:30 Monday -Friday. The Health Department will then pick up water samples from the Township on Wednesdays by Noon.
The Health Department is offering reduced fees in April. The Bacteria and Nitrates test together will be $25 instead of $30 until the end of April.

PLEASE NOTE CHECKS FOR SERVICES NEED TO BE IN BOX WITH WATER. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IS NOT ACCEPTED AT THE TOWNSHIP. IF YOU WOULD PREFER TO PAY VIA CREDIT CARD BOTTLES CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT THE COUNTY OFFICE.
